Gustaf’s Eatery

Where History and Wholesome Food Find Good Company

Gustaf’s Eatery (also called Gustaf’s on Main) welcomes you to Lindström for a deliciously healthy breakfast, brunch, or lunch in an historic red-brick house that beckons you to come in.

The Eatery’s bright and cozy atmosphere feels good – and our food tastes good, too! As you look out our dining room windows, notice our town’s Swedish coffee pot water tower, then delight in our savory and sweet menu options. Share a meal with a friend or enjoy a piece of homemade apple pie in our warm and cheery spaces. Feel good as you get on with your day, knowing you’ve dined on locally sourced fresh food that truly satisfies.

Gustaf’s strives to find the highest quality ingredients and, whenever available, ingredients that are sustainably raised, grown, and harvested. We have high standards – you betcha’! We serve premium ice cream and homemade desserts (including seasonal Scandinavian delights), and every meal is prepared to order. Gustaf’s kitchen is open daily, year-round. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for the latest news and special events (such as Spring/Fall Teas and Sweetheart Dinners).

Check out the full menu and ask about our gluten-free options. All menu items can be prepared for take-out; call-ahead for pick-up. And if you need a family meal, order one of our homemade and tasty chicken pot pies, ready to bake at home (each pie serves four adults; call ahead to ensure availability).

As you journey on U.S. Hwy. 8 through Chisago City, Lindström, and the Lakes area, stop by Gustaf’s Eatery. Order a snack or a meal and depart knowing you’ve been where history and wholesome food find good company.
